(Petaling Jaya, July 9, 2024) Celcom Digi Berhad (CelcomDigi) today launched its advanced Celcom Digi AI Experience Center (AiX), an immersive innovation and collaboration center that aims to lead, inspire and drive world-class digital solutions across industries. With a vast global network of leading technology giants and local ecosystem partners, AiX will be the focal point of cross-industry collaborations that fully leverage emerging technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), extended reality (XR), robotics, analytics and Metaverse. This collaborative facility aims to accelerate technological advancement and drive the development of new digital startups, enterprises, and future skills, creating a vibrant innovation ecosystem and pushing Malaysia's digital transformation.
AiX, which was introduced by Communications and Multimedia Minister, features immersive experiences combining visuals, sound and touch, showcasing real-world solutions that can be deployed instantly. AiX regularly updates technology and displays through continuous evolution and collaboration to provide visitors with a new experience. It will be a collaborative creation center driving rapid experimentation and development of emerging market technology solutions.

Interactive simulation of digital society solutions.
AiX is located within the CelcomDigi Hub in the Subang Jaya High-Tech Park, featuring two inspiring spaces named The Infinity and The Gallery. The Infinity aims to provide visitors with an immersive, interactive digital society simulation experience using cutting-edge audiovisual technology. The Gallery is a physical space showcasing real-world industrial use case examples, demonstrating the transformative potential of emerging technologies vital for enterprise development. These simulated showcases feature 5G, AI, and robotics technologies applied to eight vertical industries, including manufacturing, logistics, energy, fleet, port, medical care, education, and agriculture technologies. Of the 45 solutions applied across these 8 vertical industries, 13 were developed on-site in collaboration with Malaysian enterprises.
AiX also features AI-RA, the center's first AI guide and resident emcee for immersive tours. AI-RA interacts with visitors alongside a group of autonomous robots, showcasing a variety of applications on display. These robots are capable of performing multiple tasks, including perimeter monitoring, cargo handling, entertainment, and assistance, demonstrating the power of AI and robotics combined to enhance convenience at work, life, and play.
AiX also features an advanced on-site experimentation collaborative space available for use by all parties ranging from startups to large enterprises and from academia to government agencies, to collaboratively create, test, and validate new 5G-and-emerging technology solutions.
Built on a collaborative model, AiX is supported by a powerful, extensive, and continually growing ecosystem of 40 global technology leaders, local ecosystem partners and solution providers, including core partners Huawei and ZTE, as well as other partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), National Digital Bhd (Digital Nasional Berhad), Ericsson, Microsoft, SK Telecom, Softbank, Sumitomo, and Yinson.
AiX will be open to the public by appointment.
