China HK Power (00931) announced that on July 11, 2024, the company received a notice from the government and successfully won the 20-year franchise operation right of the centralized energy station project of Songshan Lake Science Smart City in Dongguan. The formal contract should be signed within 30 days from the date of receiving the notice.
The company will invest in and build a centralized energy station to provide comprehensive energy services such as refrigeration, heating, steam, compressed gas, energy storage, charging stations, and photovoltaic power generation for park enterprises.
Songshan Lake Science Smart City is a high standard, high quality, and high-level biomedical industry park invested by Dongguan Songshan Lake Science City Development Group Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dongguan Songshan Lake High-tech Industrial Development Zone). The total investment is CNY 4.5 billion.
