On the 11th, Dawn Co., Ltd. (2303) announced an update to its financial targets for fiscal year 2024 (ending in May 2025).
Revenue for the fiscal year ending in May 2023 was JPY 1.368 billion with an operating profit of JPY 0.443 billion and ROE of 14.7%. For the fiscal year ending in May 2024, revenue was JPY 1.5 billion with an operating profit of JPY 0.533 billion and ROE of 16.5%. The financial estimates for the fiscal year ending in May 2025 are revenue of JPY 1.58 billion, operating profit of JPY 0.56 billion, and ROE over 10%.
In fiscal year 2023 (ending May 2024), we achieved our initial target (including updated targets) for both revenue and operating profit for the SI business and initial development of cloud services, as well as usage fees for cloud services exceeded initial expectations. As a result, we have updated our revenue and operating profit targets for fiscal year 2024 (ending May 2025).
For fiscal year 2024 (ending May 2025), we expect a certain level of performance improvement compared to our initial mid-term management plan targets, but we are focusing on the development of edge AI technology, services utilizing patents, marketing activities, and recruitment activities as a preparation period for the next mid-term management plan (fiscal years 2026-2029).
