Weichai Power (02338) announced that the net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company obtained by the Group for the six months ended June 30, 2024 will be approximately RMB 5.46 billion to RMB 6.24 billion, an increase of about 40% to 60% over the six months ended June 30, 2023.
The increase in net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was mainly due to the fact that in the first half of 2024, the company actively promoted business and product structure optimization, strengthened implementation of cost reduction and efficiency measures, significantly increased profitability, and achieved a significant year-on-year increase in performance.
