Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed over the weekend that the police have thwarted two assassination attempts against him in the past 8 months.
On Saturday evening local time, Musk's fan “Whole Mars Catalog” posted a post on X advising Musk: “You'd better strengthen your security as well.”
“Maybe it's time to make the kind of metal armor that can fly,” Musk answered.
Musk's friend, Ian Miles Cheong, also urged Musk to “triple” his security.
Musk replied, “Ahead is a dangerous time. There have been two people (on different occasions) trying to kill me in the past 8 months. They were arrested about 20 minutes by car from Tesla's headquarters in Texas, and they were all armed with guns.”
