Passenger turnover (measured by revenue passenger kilometers) increased by 17.97% year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international transportation increasing by 6.86%, 42.39%, and 75.81% respectively. The passenger load factor was 83.36%, up 3.89 percentage points year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international transportation increasing by 4.72, 1.29, and 0.32 percentage points respectively.
In terms of cargo transportation, the cargo transportation capacity (measured by available ton kilometers of cargo and mail) increased by 10.95% year-on-year in June 2024; the revenue ton kilometers of cargo and mail increased by 18.02% year-on-year; and the cargo and mail load factor was 55.41%, up 3.32 percentage points year-on-year.
In June 2024, the group added the following major routes: Luzhou-Wuhan-Tianjin-Wuhan-Luzhou (7 flights per week), Chongqing-Phnom Penh-Chongqing (4 flights per week), Fuzhou-Lianyungang-Erdos-Lianyungang-Fuzhou, Chongqing-Colombo-Male-Colombo-Chongqing (3 flights per week each).
In June 2024, the group retired three aircraft (including one A330-200 aircraft, one B737-800 aircraft, and one A320 aircraft). As of the end of June 2024, the group operated a total of 907 transport aircraft.
