Shanghai Friendess Electronic Technology Corporation (688188.SH) announced on July 15th that it has received a proposal for mid-term dividend in 2024 from its controlling shareholder. According to the resolution passed by the company's annual shareholders meeting in 2023 regarding authorizing the board of directors to distribute mid-term dividends in 2024, the shareholders meeting authorized the company's board of directors to make resolutions on mid-term dividends after the approval of at least two-thirds of the directors present. The proposal suggested that the company will implement mid-term dividends in 2024 based on the principles of profit distribution stipulated in the company's articles of association and ensuring the normal operation of the company. The distribution ratio of mid-term dividends in 2024 will not be less than 30% of the net income attributable to shareholders of the listed company in the first half of 2024. The controlling shareholder has promised to vote in favor of the proposal at the relevant meeting.
