IAT Automobile Technology (300825.SZ) recently stated during a visit by institutional investors that in order to fully grasp the opportunities for vehicle intelligence and AI technology development, the company has taken the lead in promoting the use of AI to empower automotive R&D design as an important strategy, leading the application of new technologies such as AI models and digital R&D tools to multiple links in the R&D business chain, including modeling, engineering, simulation modeling analysis testing, performance development, and testing, and has established an Artificial Intelligence and Digital Laboratory (AI.XLab) dedicated to research and application of artificial intelligence in the field of automotive R&D design. The company has actively contacted leading domestic and foreign semiconductor and artificial intelligence technology companies such as NVIDIA, and conducted in-depth communication and discussion on AI and automotive R&D design cooperation (such as developing automatic driving simulation tool chains, modeling 3D reconstruction, and component AI creation-based design based on USD, etc.).
In addition, the company has signed a "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" with Zhifu Huazhang, and the two teams combine IAT's accumulated automotive R&D data and knowledge with the technical characteristics of Zhifu's AI cognitive intelligence model to form a development direction for the "Automotive Industry Intelligent Service Large Model" driven by both "user experience" and "automotive design", exploring the joint development of specialized large models for the automotive industry. In November 2023, the company will launch the "IAT (Wuxi) Intelligent Calculation Center," an important milestone in the progressive implementation of IAT's AI-enabled automotive R&D strategy.
