The China Automobile Industry Association released data showing that commercial vehicle sales in the first half of 2024 totaled 2.005 million and 206.8 million vehicles, up 2% and 4.9% year-on-year, respectively. In the main varieties, sales of passenger cars and trucks varied from year to year. Although the commercial vehicle market has been under some pressure recently, overall commercial vehicle sales have maintained a steady growth trend.
In June, sales of commercial vehicles totaled 0.33 million and 33.7 million vehicles, where sales increased by 2.8% and decreased by 1.2%, respectively, and decreased by 3.5% and 4.9% year-on-year, respectively.
