After a conversation with Dong Yuhui, Yu Chengdong once again made the trending list four times. Behind the trending list is Yu Chengdong's focused and restrained changes. In terms of product structure, the operating income of 10-30 billion yuan products were 401/1288/60 million yuan respectively.

On the evening of July 15th, Yu Chengdong, chairman of Huawei's automotive BU, invited Dong Yuhui, the head of an industry peer, to talk at Huawei's Songshan Lake Park. Yu Chengdong, who once dreamed of becoming the "chief engineer" of spaceflight, admitted that he is a very quiet person and doesn't like to appear in public for press conferences.

However, he is introverted but speaks frankly. When it comes to his own automobile business, he can't help but reveal recent developments in the "four realms" and comment on the chaotic industry.

Regarding the recent speculation about giving "AITO Realm" back to Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Stock, Yu Chengdong revealed for the first time that it was due to national regulations that demand "the brand owner and producer must be one, and this brand must be owned by the producer".

"We invested a lot in the AITO Realm and the team paid a huge price to get the brand down. Furthermore, we turned it into a high-end brand," Yu Chengdong said frankly, "even the name 'AITO', which is a four-letter brand starting with AI and registered globally, is worth billions at least."

On the evening of July 2nd, Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Stock announced that it plans to acquire the Wanjie series trademark and patent that Huawei holds for 2.5 billion yuan. This is only one-quarter of the market's estimated value of 10.233 billion yuan, and Yu Chengdong frankly stated that "the automakers are making a lot of money".

However, for Huawei, this is also to further align itself with the positioning of "tire 0.5" and focus on R&D investment. Because in Yu Chengdong's view, it used to be big fish eats small fish, but it's now a time when the fast fish eats the slow fish. "Technology iteration is too fast now, and being slightly slower may result in being eliminated. Technological innovation must run faster than the opponent," Yu Chengdong admitted.

This means that as a latecomer, as long as Huawei is bold enough, it has the opportunity to compete with auto industry giants such as BYD and Geely, and even overtake them around the bend to once again overturn the industry layout.

Next is the intensive promotion period of the Smart Car Show.

First, there is the Enjoys S9 luxury executive car, which will be launched in August. Yu Chengdong targets the S-class flagship cars of BBA (BMW 7 series, Audi A8L, Mercedes-Benz S-class) and hopes to reproduce the glory of the M9 Realm.

Next, the first smart SUV coupe of Hongmeng Intelligent Driving and the second model of Huawei's collaboration with Chery, the Zhijie R7, will be launched in September. Yu Chengdong said that the "R" of R7 represents subversion and transcendence, and the interior space will exceed everyone's imagination, while also incorporating a range of black technology from Huawei.

In addition, perhaps inadvertently or perhaps intentionally, Yu Chengdong exposed the brand name "Zunjie" that is being developed in cooperation with JAC. This is the last brand in Hongmeng Intelligent Driving's "Four Realms".

Yu Chengdong stated that it will compete with super luxury brand car models such as Maybach and Rolls-Royce, with a pricing at the million level. It is reported that the "Fourth Realm" has three large cars in the research and development stage, covering three major categories: sedans, SUVs, and MPVs. The first car is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.

From Yu Chengdong's revelations about the "Four Realms", the market has outlined Huawei's ambitious plans to disrupt the high-end luxury car market. It also reflects Yu Chengdong's focus. He previously stated that because Huawei has been deeply involved in high-end technology, cars priced below 300,000 are all losing propositions. The M9 Realm with over a hundred thousand units ordered has shown Yu Chengdong the direction to pursue higher sales figures.

However, after figuring out their advantages and identifying the direction, Yu Chengdong and his Smart Car still face many obstacles to overcome. During this live broadcast, he also frankly admitted that the ZhiJie S7 did not sell well. "I thought this car was the best car for young people, but Huawei's marketing ability has a big gap, and the brand did not take off," he said.

Faced with this unpredictable market, Yu Chengdong, who manages four cooperating vehicle manufacturers, might only be able to win by converging his energies. He has slowly put down his exploratory stage of big plans and is repositioning his technological advantages. He will quickly fill his gaps and then use collaborations to magnify and consolidate his leading position. The history of the automotive industry has also proved that tire1 behind the original equipment manufacturers is the ultimate hidden winner.

In the future, the independent and separately listed Automotive BU is exploring the road of participating in joint ventures with multiple original equipment manufacturers. This is an important step for Huawei to expand its circle of friends and break through the industry's barriers.

After the 0-1 phase, Yu Chengdong has become more stable. Faced with the next 1-10 period, he will step on the throttle and accelerate towards becoming "tire0.5".
