On July 16th, Gelun Hui announced that CGN Mining (01164.HK) produced a total of 727.4 tons of natural uranium in the second quarter of 2024, with a completion rate of 101.5% for this quarter. Among them, the 49% stake held by the group's joint venture company, Shemiz Bayi Uranium Limited Liability Partnership ("Shemiz Company") in Kazakhstan, produced 239.4 tons of natural uranium; while the other 49% stake held by the group's joint venture company, Altayrekh Limited Liability Partnership ("O Company") in Kazakhstan, produced 488.1 tons of natural uranium.
As of June 30th, 2024, the group held 875 tU (about 2.27 million pounds U3O8) of natural uranium, with a weighted average cost of $73.85 per pound U3O8; and held 4,613 tU (about 11.99 million pounds U3O8) of natural uranium sales that have been signed but not yet delivered, with a weighted average selling price of $75.47 per pound U3O8.
