Yuzhou Group (01628) announced that, given that the main implementation of the restructuring plan (as defined in the announcement on February 8) will be through the proposed arrangement, the company has applied to the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands and the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the original court of the lawsuit, for approval to convene a meeting of relevant plan creditors to consider and approve various plans.
As an update on the scheduled hearing, the hearing for the Cayman plan, originally scheduled for July 31, 2024, has been rescheduled for August 2, 2024. Supplementary documents for the practical declaration have been distributed to relevant creditors to notify them of the change in the hearing date. To avoid confusion, the hearing for the Hong Kong plan remains scheduled for August 16, 2024.
