PR Newswire ·  07/16 12:15

PITTSBURGH, July 16, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create a simple way to assist you when standing or returning to a seated position on the couch or chair," said an inventor, from Lathbridge, AB, Canada, "so I invented the LOW COST HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE COMFORT SEAT. "My design would lower and angle the front of the couch cushion for ease when sitting or standing regardless of user height."

The patent-pending invention transforms a couch armchair into a low cost adjustable comfort seat, custom fit for any height. It provides an effective way to assist individuals when standing from or returning to a seated position. In doing so, it increases safety. It also may reduce the stress and pressure normally placed upon the user's body. The invention features a practical design that is easy to apply and use so it is ideal for the elderly, disabled persons or individuals who experience mobility issues, arthritis sufferers, lower leg amputees, etc. Additionally, a prototype model is available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Toronto sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
