1. Progress of the user-cooperative demonstration experiment “TONE Labo”

Regarding the user-cooperative demonstration experiment “TONE Labo,” which has been carried out on Tone Mobile since 2022/5, we are working on the development and implementation of tests of “TONE Care” (5G Healthstyle area) and development and testing related to “TONE Coin” (web3 and blockchain). “TONE Care” is an online service that allows remote consultations with doctors, etc. such as “health consultations” and “smartphone overuse consultations.” Meanwhile, “TONE Coin” is a service where surplus smartphone resources (power supply, CPU, etc.) are provided as nodes for “TONE Chain” *1 operation when the application is operated in the background while the smartphone is charging, and unique points “TONE Coin” can be obtained as rewards. From 2024/2/1, “TONE Labo” participants will be able to apply “TONE Coin” to Tone Mobile usage fees*2. Furthermore, it is a policy to expand to “One Vision.”

2. A new stakeholder community “One Vision” has started

Construction of the stakeholder community demonstration experiment “One Vision” on Web3 began on 2023/12/8. The plan is for customers, shareholders, and employees involved in the company to share the community as one vision and operate a global L1 blockchain. Thus, it contributes to important social implementation of maintaining an earth-friendly blockchain network using smartphone standby power and CPU based on a new stakeholder community in the Web3 era, and aims to be a blockchain community that has realized “decentralization” on the largest scale in the world. As part of this, the right to participate in the “TONE Chain” was newly opened to shareholders. The participation of the company's employees is also being considered in the future. Specifically, in addition to obtaining rewards for “TONE Coin” as a new shareholder return, “shareholder NFT"* that easily operates with a smartphone will be presented.

3. “LIVINGTOWN MINATOMIRAI” PROJECT STARTS

At the community town “LIVINGTOWN Minato Mirai,” which proposes new homes and ways of living in the 5G/Web3 era utilizing advanced technology, a Local 5G SA (Standalone) environment was constructed through technical cooperation with the company group, Alps Alpine (6770), and NEC Networks SI ＜1973＞, and housing, work, and mobility through installed equipment and IoT devices within model houses An experiential verification where you can experience smart homes and smart towns in the field “LIVE! “LIVINGTOWN” has started. In the future, it is planned to provide comprehensive, secure and stable 5G/Web3 solutions that meet issues and needs in a wide range of fields by providing them to institutions and businesses that wish to conduct demonstration tests.

4. Progress of the platform “Standalone” for creators

Initiatives for new businesses with an eye on the 5G/Web3 era are also being promoted in the “Corporate/Creator 5G DX Support Project,” and service development for new artists has grown steadily on the platform “Standalone” for creators. “Standalone” is a platform where creators can disseminate information themselves without going through major platforms. We aim to form and expand fan communities in the 5G/Web3 era by expanding the creator economy (an economic zone where creators monetize with their own skills) and providing NFT issuance support services for creators.
