On July 18th, Gelonhui reported that Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium Resources (000629.SZ) announced during an investor relations event that, through friendly negotiation, it has jointly invested RMB 31.61 million to establish a joint venture company in October 2022, with the company holding 51% of the registered capital and Dalian Rongke accounting for 49%. In the first phase, the joint venture will build an electrolyte production line in Panzhihua City in 2022 to achieve a production capacity of 2,000 cubic meters/year. In the second phase, based on the growth of the vanadium battery energy storage market, both parties will negotiate to invest in the construction of a 60,000 cubic meters/year vanadium electrolyte production line. The joint venture's 2,000 cubic meters/year electrolyte production line, Vanrung Technology, completed equipment installation and thermal load test runs in May 2023, and has since begun trial production, achieving good production and operation. In the future, the company and Dalian Rongke will continue to invest in and build a 60,000 cubic meters/year vanadium electrolyte production line in accordance with the Joint Venture Agreement, jointly promoting the application and development of vanadium in the energy storage field.
