On July 18th, Gelunhui reported that Hunan Gold Corporation (002155.SZ) announced that its subsidiary, Hunan Xinlong Mining Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xinlong Mining), had reported a temporary shutdown of its headquarters. The relevant situation is now announced as follows: On July 17, 2024, when the mining engineering contractor of the subsidiary Xinlong Mining, Hunan Jin Zhi Yuan Mining Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jin Zhi Yuan) project department staff carried out wind drilling operations at the 6# vein mining area of the 800th pit of Xinlong Mining, the roof collapsed and the accident caused one employee of the Jin Zhi Yuan stationed at the Xinlong Mining project office to die. After the accident, Xinlong Mining immediately launched an emergency plan. The company's leadership immediately went to the scene to organize the treatment and took emergency measures to rescue and after-work. Xinlong Mining timely reported the accident to the relevant departments in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures, and took the initiative to suspend production and rectify. At present, Xinlong Mining and the Jin Zhi Yuan project department are actively cooperating with local emergency departments to conduct further investigation and processing of the accident, and all disposal work is being carried out in an orderly manner.
