The loading and unloading efficiency of the above-mentioned ship's lifting and lowering platform-style car cabin is low and the loading and unloading process is complicated. By adopting the design of ramp access and exit, which has shown a high degree of maturity and stability in many years of actual operation, the loading efficiency can be significantly improved compared to the lifting and lowering platform.
After the modification of the ship's car cabin with a ramp, the car cabin can be further utilized. Referring to similar ships, it is expected to increase the shipment of 0.114 million vehicles per year. The average output value per ship can be increased by 7.3% per year, and the total additional revenue of four ships is approximately 12.16 million yuan per year. The new net profit is approximately 3.64 million yuan per year, and the return on investment (ROI) of the project is 21%. After the renovation of the ships' car cabins, it can alleviate the pressure of the peak season on the transportation of high load, bringing good social benefits. At the same time, the change in the operation mode will also reduce power consumption and have a positive effect on safety and environmental protection.
