Optimax Holdings Berhad's (Optimax) subsidiary, Optimax Eye Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) to offer eye examinations to primary school pupils in the Putrajaya area.
Optimax, an eye specialist service provider, will provide the essential eye examination to the pupils and supply spectacles to those in need. This initiative aims to enhance eye healthcare services for students and raise awareness about the importance of eye healthcare.
Optimax chief executive officer Sandy Tan said, "We are pleased to collaborate with MOH to launch this initiative. By improving the students' vision, we hope to significantly enhance their overall quality of life. This initiative reflects our commitment to educating society about eye healthcare and helping the younger generation achieve optimal vision."

The MOU was signed by MOH's Deputy Secretary-General (Finance) Dato' Sri Norazman Ayob, and Optimax and Tan in the presence of Minister of Health, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad and Tan Sri Dato' (Dr.) Tan Boon Hock, executive deputy chairman of Optimax today.
