Xpeng has begun recruiting beta testers for its latest AI-powered Tianji XOS 5.2 for car owners worldwide, expanding its software testing program beyond China for the first time.

"Xpeng's intelligence evolution accelerates to next level with the launch of a beta recruitment to users worldwide," the company wrote on Weibo today.

Xpeng unveiled the in-vehicle system, called Tianji, at its AI Day event on May 20, saying it is the industry's first operating system to fully utilize AI technology for smart cockpits and smart driving.
