Theme Int'l (00990) announces that on July 22, 2024, the company and Shandong Energy entered into the joint venture agreement on the establishment of the joint venture. As per the agreement, Shandong Energy and the company will respectively own 51% and 49% of the joint venture after its establishment. The registered capital of the joint venture is expected to be HKD 0.8 billion, and Shandong Energy will contribute HKD 0.408 billion, while the company will contribute HKD 0.392 billion, all in cash.
The joint venture company will be named Shandong Energy Group Ronghui International Trading Co., Ltd., and its main business will be trading of the CSI commodity equity index and related businesses.
