Porsche lowered its full-year revenue expectations on Tuesday, saying that shortages of aluminum parts could cause some models to stop production.

The company said in a statement that it expects revenue this year to be between 39 billion and 40 billion euros (approximately 42.5 billion to 43.6 billion US dollars), lower than the previously forecast 40 billion to 42 billion euros.

Porsche said in the statement that the supply shortage was caused by flooding in a major European supplier's production facility. The company said the issue affected all aluminum components used in all Porsche models.

This downward adjustment of revenue expectations is Porsche's second bad news in two days. On Monday, the company abandoned its goal of achieving 50% of total sales of electric vehicles by 2025, citing lower-than-expected sales of plug-in hybrids in Europe and China.

Porsche will release its semi-annual results on July 24th.
