Varia Berhad Awarded RM555 Million Sewerage Treatment Plant Project
Varia Berhad announced that Pembinaan Teguh Maju Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Varia, had accepted a Letter of Award from Best Metro Builder Sdn Bhd for a sewerage treatement plant upgrading work in Butterworth North, Pulau Pinang for RM555 million.
Varia Berhad宣布其全资子公司Pembinaan Teguh Maju Sdn Bhd已接受Best Metro Builder Sdn Bhd发出的一封中标函，以 RM55500万的价格为Pulau Pinang地区Butterworth North的污水处理厂升级工程提供服务。
The work included being the sub-contractor to supply labour, plants, materials, equipment, tools, transport, temporary works and ancillary needed for the design, construction and completion of sewerage treatment plant, network pump station, sewerage network, rationalisation and decommissioning, testing, commissioning and maintenance works of the Project.
工程包括作为分包商提供设计、施工和完成污水处理厂、网络泵站、污水网络、合理化和停用、测试、调试和维修所需的劳工、植物、材料、设备、工具、运输和临时工程等配套。
The Contract is for a period of 57 months from the date of commencement on 25 June 2024 or the commencement from individual site possession kick off date (whichever is the later) until the date of completion which shall be on 24 March 2029.
合同期为57个月，自2024年6月25日动工或个别工地交付日期（以晚者为准）起至2029年3月24日完成为止。
Varia said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Varia Group for the relevant financial periods within the duration of the contract it added the contract not to have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of Varia.
Varia表示，该合同预计将对Varia集团在合同期内有益的贡献收益，但不会对Varia的股本和股份结构产生任何影响。
