Former US President Donald Trump denied considering JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon as his treasury secretary and said he had not considered BlackRock's Larry Fink as a candidate for the position.
On the Truth Social platform, Trump posted, "I don't know who said this or where it came from, maybe the radical left, but I never discussed or considered Jamie Dimon or Larry Fink as Treasury Secretary."
Trump had previously mentioned Dimon as a potential member of his cabinet. In an interview on June 25th, Trump talked about meeting several CEOs of large companies at a Business Roundtable event.
