Xizi Clean Energy Equipment Manufacturing (002534.SZ) stated in an investor relations event today that in recent years, the company has been devoted to research on key thermal power equipment and systems, such as molten salt heat storage-steam generation systems. The company's independently developed "molten salt absorber and steam generation system with high power for solar thermal and storage systems" has won the first (set) of major technical equipment in the national energy field, which has rich experience in project construction and operation. Based on molten salt energy storage technology, the company has been developing applications in more energy utilization scenarios such as solar thermal power generation, user-side energy storage, thermal power flexibility transformation, and zero-carbon parks. The Shaoxing green electric molten salt energy storage project, which is built by the company, is a key user-side molten salt energy storage project in Zhejiang Province, and successfully transmitted electricity in 2023 in Tiansheng Group Tianshi Low-carbon Industrial Park in Keqiao District, Shaoxing. Compared with other molten salt energy storage projects, its outstanding advantage is to use wind and solar power from western regions and low-priced valley electricity for energy storage. The completion of the project is a key measure for the company to explore the development of new energy storage fields.
