Tianma Technology (603668.SH) stated on the investor interaction platform on July 25 that the consumption food industry culture of eels, which has a millennium heritage and is popular among consumers in the global market, is actively improving in domestic and international consumption scenarios. At present, the amount of live eels and eel stocks in American consumption fisheries has dropped significantly, and the stocking volume of adult eels has reached a historical low. This year, the amount of American eel fingerling stocking has decreased by more than 10% year-on-year, and the supply-demand balance has changed significantly. From May 3 to July 5, the price of Guangdong eel (Japanese eel) has risen for four consecutive rounds, and the price has increased by 0.045 million yuan per ton, while the normal price difference between Japanese and American eels with the same P number is 1 to 0.02 million yuan. In order to maintain the common interests of the industry and promote the healthy, sustainable and high-quality development of the eel industry, it is necessary to raise the price of live American eels. After the meeting to stabilize the price of live eels, the majority of fish farmers and grilled eel factories actively implemented the resolution to increase the price of live American eels. The current prices of live American eels with different P numbers have increased by 5,000 to 0.01 million yuan. Judging from the price difference between Japanese and American eels at present, there is still room for further increase in the price of American eels. The Fujian Eel Industry Association will actively promote the proposal for the second round of price increases based on the implementation of the first round of price increases and changes in the price of Japanese eels.
