RICOH COMPANY ·  Jul 25 11:00

Ricoh Co., Ltd. (CEO and Executive Officer: Akira Oyama) announces that one of our technical employees has been seconded to Fullheart Japan Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Aihiko Kokugo) as the first match in the Ota Ward Company Human Resources Utilization Support Program jointly launched with Ota Ward, Tokyo. In July 2023, Ricoh and Ricoh Japan Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with Ota Ward regarding the promotion of SDGs. This program was launched based on that agreement, aiming to promote inter-company personnel exchanges, and to contribute to securing human resources and strengthening the management foundations of companies within the ward. After a two-month trial period starting from May 2024, the seconded employee began full-time secondment on July 1st. President Kokugo of Fullheart Japan says, "I think it's important for small and medium-sized companies to incorporate experienced personnel from outside and take on new challenges."

With a shortage of personnel in companies becoming increasingly severe and securing technical personnel being a social issue, as the receiving company within Ota Ward, we can have experienced personnel with various job types and expertise from Ricoh work as immediate contributors, thereby expecting to strengthen our management foundations. In addition, Ricoh aims to provide growth opportunities for its employees, support the formation of second careers, and build external networks.

Ricoh supports each employee to actively pursue a career beyond the framework of the company with the awareness of a career autonomy in an era where people live to 100 years old. Through such efforts, we aim to achieve a sustainable society in which career diversification and job satisfaction coexist with economic growth.
