On July 25, 2024, Capital Ind Fin (00730) announced that South International Leasing Co., Ltd. (an indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary of the company), lessee Beijing Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd., and seller Beijing Zhongrui Jiuhong Technology Co., Ltd. reached an agreement on a leasing arrangement through the following agreements: the lessor, lessee and seller signed a transfer agreement, in which the lessor agreed to purchase equipment from the seller for a total price of RMB 55.33 million; and the lessor and lessee signed a financial lease agreement, in which the lessor agreed to lease the equipment to the lessee for a lease term of 45 months from the date of the lessor's payment of the first installment payment for the purchase of the equipment to the seller.
The equipment includes a set of waste heat power generation facilities located in China, which is used for the upgrading project of existing power generation facilities.
The announcement stated that the financing lease arrangement was entered into by the Group in the course of its daily and general business processes. The conclusion of such financing lease arrangement can increase the income of the financing lease business, therefore, it is beneficial to the Group and in line with the Group's business development strategy.
