Ketuo Pharma-B (09939.HK) announced that Tong Youzhi, the chairman of the board of directors and executive director and CEO of the company, respectively, increased his shareholding by a total of 1.0265 million Hong Kong dollars (an average transaction price of HKD 1.0311 per share) through KT International Investment Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, on the open market on July 19, 24 and 25, 2024. This increased his shareholding by 0.9955 million shares, or approximately 0.2225% of the issued share capital of the company as of the date of this announcement.
The board of directors believes that this shareholding increase demonstrates Dr. Tong's strong confidence in the company's commercial prospects and growth potential, as well as his full recognition of the long-term investment value of the company. The Group will continue to focus on the dermatology field, deepen its existing cosmetic product offerings, expand product coverage scenarios, accelerate the launch of new cosmetic products, including but not limited to the listing pace of 826 acne cream and 939 whitening essence, and further enrich the product matrix. The Group is expected to form seven types of cosmetic products covering hair loss prevention, acne treatment, and whitening within the year to meet the diversified consumption needs of different types of consumers for products. At the same time, it will accelerate the development of overseas markets for cosmetic products, explore the development potential of key regions such as Japan, Europe, and Australia, deepen market layout, and build a global marketing network to enhance brand influence and recognition.
