In recent years, the use of generating AI in companies has been increasing, and Kyuden Group is also actively promoting the use of generating AI for the purpose of improving labor productivity.
On the other hand, ethical issues such as privacy protection and transparency are being raised worldwide as the evolution of generating AI and increasing utilization opportunities occur, and in Japan, the "AI Business Guidelines" (note) have been established. The governance practices for companies using AI are expected.
In light of this situation, we have established the "Kyuden Group AI Basic Policy" to clarify the basic stance and philosophy of Kyuden Group on AI, with the main focus on fulfilling our social responsibility by fully recognizing the risks and responsibilities of using AI.
Under this policy, Kyuden Group will aim to maximize the use of AI for improving labor productivity and providing new value to customers through innovation.
Furthermore, we will continue to promote "corporate transformation" by utilizing advanced and latest digital technology and data, and aim to achieve a sustainable society under the "Kyuden Group Management Vision 2030".
"AI Business Guidelines" are the basic ideas that indicate the necessary efforts regarding the development, provision, and utilization of AI to promote safe, secured, and effective utilization of AI, and show the unified guidelines for AI governance in Japan.
