At Xpeng's AI driving technology conference today, He Xiaopeng, the chairman and CEO of Xpeng, delivered a speech.
He announced that AI Tianji XOS 5.2.0 would be pushed globally, bringing a new intelligent driving experience. A total of 72 new functions were added and 412 functions were optimized in this update. With the end-to-end large model capability, Xpeng OTA is more stable and faster. The OTA evolves on a monthly basis, even faster than smartphones. XOS 5.2.0 achieves global push and was officially launched in China on July 30th, and was pushed to 10 countries including Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, and France on August 15th.
He revealed that by 2024, Xpeng will have a comprehensive layout in 30 countries and regions (Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific, Africa, Latin America, etc.), and in H1 2024, the export volume of China's pure electric brand mid-to-high-end models will rank first. In addition, in H1 2024, the sales volume of mid-to-high-end pure electric SUVs in developed countries such as Northern Europe and the Middle East will rank first.
In terms of charging network layout, by 2024, there will be 1,600 self-owned stations, 1,300 of which will be operational, and 1,000 fast-charging stations. By 2026, there will be 10,000 self-owned charging stations and 4,500 liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging stations. In addition, the new Xpeng S5 ultra-fast charging station will achieve 1 kilometer of charging per second.
He also revealed that starting from August 1st, the first batch of Xpeng MONA M03 display vehicles will arrive at stores in cities across the country.
