Compared to the policies of promoting household appliances to rural areas and replacing old with new ones in China from 2007 to 2010, this policy provides greater subsidies for high energy-efficiency rated household appliances. In addition, according to the latest report on major white goods production plans by Industry Online, the total production capacity of air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines in August 2024 will be 26.72 million units, an increase of 1.1% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the production of household air conditioners in August was 11.989 million units, an increase of 5.3% compared to the same period last year.
