Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa; President: Makoto Uchida) announced on the 31st that they will release the 'Caravan MYROOM' in late August, which is the standard version of the 'Caravan MYROOM Launch edition', a special edition car that they temporarily sold last year.
The 'Caravan MYROOM' is a new category car that was developed for customers who want a space to relax (rest) by bringing their favorite room into nature, targeting those who want to feel unusual in their daily lives and feel the natural world.
In addition to the 'GRAND Premium GX' grade that was set in the 'Caravan MYROOM Launch edition', you can now choose the 'Premium GX' grade. In addition, we have set 'Deep Forest', which has been well received in the base model 'Caravan', as a new body color, and have a total of 5 colors in the lineup, including the MYROOM-exclusive color of sand beige/white 2-tone.
The features of 'Caravan MYROOM' are the same as those of Launch edition, as described below.
- The interior uses wood grain abundantly, achieving a sophisticated taste like a simple and minimalistic designer hotel.Having combined a bed and a table, it is possible to freely arrange the inside of the car into living room mode, bedroom mode, and dining room mode.
- The 2 in 1 seat in the second row can be easily arranged according to its usage. At the time of riding, it pursues a comfortable ride with moderate hardness, and when it is flipped over to the rear seat side during parking, it provides a comfortable sitting feeling like a soft sofa. If you open the back door, you can relax while enjoying the natural scenery in the car.
- For the bed for car camping, you can choose from two patterns: folding bed and MYROOM lift-up bed * 1. Both use herringbone fabric and express a simple yet rich quality. The MYROOM lift-up bed can be unfolded with one action, and it falls supplely without pinching your fingers, allowing you to make the bed without worrying about it. Since the folding bed is divided into two, it is possible to arrange it freely.
- The slide table can be fixed or removed at your favorite position, and can be used according to its usage. By using the 2 in 1 seat and slide table, you can spend a relaxing time as if you are in a room.
- The exterior enhances the impression of the appearance by preparing original parts such as black grilles, black door handles, black door mirrors, and black steel wheels, creating the original atmosphere of MYROOM. MYROOM-exclusive stickers are prepared on the rear quarter window and back door * 2.
- By supplying power from the 'Portable battery from LEAF' * 2, developed by reusing the battery used in the electric vehicle 'Nissan Leaf', you can use the AC 100V outlet in the car even in places without power, allowing you to spend as much time as you want in the car.
