According to the Futu Securities App, SG Group Hldgs (01657) released its annual results for the year ending April 30, 2024. The group earned revenue of HKD 0.123 billion, a YoY decrease of 17.71%; incurred a loss of HKD 17.147 million, a YoY expansion of 4.38%; and had a basic loss per share of HKD 0.536.

The announcement stated that the decrease in revenue was mainly due to a decrease in orders from the group's major clients based in the United Kingdom; and sales discounts given to customers in response to their requests. Most of the British customers reduced their demand due to pressure from accelerating inflation and disposable income of their end customers.
