In the news, on July 27th, China Shipbuilding Industry released a related transaction announcement regarding the acquisition of assets of over 5 billion yuan. CSSC Tianjin plans to purchase part of the assets of Hong Kong Shipbuilding Heavy Industries Lingang Plant for 4.044 billion yuan, including one 500,000-ton and one 300,000-ton large dry dock; Wuchang Shipyard intends to purchase 100% equity of Wuchuan Navigation for 1.044 billion yuan. In addition, some listed companies in the CSSC Group are expected to achieve significant growth in performance, and Chinese shipbuilding companies undertook more than 60% of global orders in the first half of the year.

Open Source Securities pointed out that the big cycle of the shipbuilding industry is coming, with both order volume and price rising, and some shipbuilding companies' orders scheduled to 2028; new ship prices have entered the upward channel, and shipbuilding companies' profitability has improved. In addition, the trend of consolidation in the shipbuilding industry is evident, and Chinese shipbuilding companies are expected to continue to benefit. The bank believes that the performance of the industry chain is expected to enter an accelerated release period, and we remain bullish on domestic leading shipbuilding companies.
