Baker Technology (02149) announced that it expects to generate revenue of not less than RMB 0.276 billion for the six months ending June 30, 2024, which is an increase of at least 35% compared to revenue of approximately RMB 0.204 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2023. It also expects to achieve net income of no less than RMB 62 million, an increase of at least 35% compared to net income of approximately RMB 45.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2023.
According to the announcement, the expected growth in revenue and net income during the reporting period is mainly due to: the continuous launch of new industrial products, which has driven the increase in product sales; and the effective implementation of the global strategy, keeping up with market trends and customer demand, especially deepening the development of existing important customers, including giving more favorable policies to larger and credit-worthy customers, thus improving customers' willingness to place orders and order volume.
