On August 6th, Gelonghui reported that Shandong Buchang Pharmaceuticals (603858.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tonghua Guhong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. recently received the "Drug Registration Certificate" for injection of acetic acid-carprofen from the National Medical Products Administration.
Injection acetic acid carprofen is applicable to adult patients and pediatric patients (three months and older): 1. suspected fungal infection in patients with neutropenia and fever during empirical treatment. 2. Treatment of candidemia and the following candida infections: abdominal abscess, peritonitis and pleural cavity infection. The effect of this product on endocarditis, osteomyelitis and meningitis caused by candida infection has not been studied. 3. Treatment of esophageal candidiasis. This product has not been approved for the treatment of oropharyngeal candidiasis (OPC). In a study evaluating the efficacy of caprafinone in the treatment of esophageal candidiasis, the recurrence rate of OPC in patients with concomitant OPC was higher. 4. Treatment of invasive aspergillosis that is ineffective or intolerant to other treatments. The effect of this product as initial treatment for invasive aspergillosis has not been studied.
