On August 6th, the China Chain Operations Association (CCFA) released the "2024 China Network Retail Top 100".

ZTO Express (09878) ranked fifth on the list of top 100 online retailers in China with network sales of 81.6181 billion yuan, according to the China Chain Operations Association (CCFA)'s "2024 China Network Retail Top 100" released on August 6th, demonstrating the company's steady and robust development in the field of online retail.

CCFA found that the acceleration of the integration of online and offline channels in the retail consumption market and the continuous innovation of business models have become the key driving forces for promoting consumption growth. As a leading industrial Internet company in the industry, ZTO Express empowers service-oriented township husband-and-wife stores through deep cultivation of the retail industry in sinking markets. The company has successfully built an industrial service platform that combines online and offline channels, which has been recognized by the market, thanks to its excellent digital technology and supply chain capabilities.

At present, ZTO Express has served 0.237 million township stores in 21 provinces across the country, providing them with 7 categories of supply chain commodities, including home appliances, consumer electronics, agricultural materials, travel, wine, home furnishings, and daily necessities, and has helped 0.137 million small stores complete digital transformation through its independently developed technical tools.

In terms of digitalization, ZTO Express has developed an e-commerce solution that integrates "procurement, marketing, and sales" for storefronts. The company uses its self-developed vertical AI model (Intelligent Store Broadcast, Digital Person) to turn complex marketing, live broadcasting, and procurement work into one-click operations. Currently, the number of storefronts upgraded and transformed by the system has exceeded 0.137 million, with over 0.048 million subscription-based storefronts.

It is worth mentioning that ZTO Express has also been actively exploring the international supply chain market this year. The company has found that products that are popular in rural markets are also suitable for Southeast Asian and Central Asian markets in terms of product configuration and pricing. Some of the company's air conditioning products have been exported to five Central Asian countries including Kazakhstan, and the company has also signed contracts with some foreign trade enterprises in Jiangsu Province to set up cross-border independent stations.
