Johor Plantation To Issue RM3 Billion ICP, IMTN Programme

Johor Plantations Group Berhad announces it had lodged the required information and relevant documents in relation to the ICP Programme and the IMTN Programme with the Securities Commission Malaysia with a combined limit of RM3 billion.

The Sukuk Wakalah Programmes allow for the issuance of Sukuk Wakalah-ICP and Sukuk Wakalah-IMTN from time to time, provided that the aggregate outstanding nominal value of Sukuk Wakalah shall not exceed the Sukuk Wakalah Programmes' combined limit of RM3.0 billion at any one time.

The ICP Programme will have a programme tenure of seven years while the IMTN Programme will have a perpetual programme tenure. This will be the grouo's first issuance of the Sukuk Wakalah-ICP and Sukuk Wakalah-IMTN under the Sukuk Wakalah Programmes.

JPG plans to use the proceeds to refinance existing borrowings/Shariah-compliant financings and/or future Shariah-compliant financings of JPG and its subsidiaries, working capital, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure and general corporate purposes of the Issuer Group and to pay all fees, costs and expenses relating to the establishment of the Sukuk Wakalah Programmes and issuance of the Sukuk Wakalah.

Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is the Principal Adviser for the Sukuk Wakalah Programmes. The Joint Lead Arrangers for the Sukuk Wakalah Programmes are CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad.
