In terms of news, Shimao Group announced that on August 7, 2024, the seller (three subsidiaries of the company) and the buyer China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Third Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. and the project company Xiamen Shimao New Leadership Property Co., Ltd. entered into the agreement, whereby the seller agreed to sell the sales shares (project company's 100% registered capital) to the buyer for a price of RMB 0.59634 billion.
The announcement stated that the project company is a property development company and holds the project, which is a comprehensive residential, commercial and commercial complex located in Jimei District, Xiamen. After the completion of the sale and the Group's debt claim of RMB 0.37372 billion held by the project company is cleared, the Group will no longer have any equity in the project company.
