電通グループ、国際的なESG評価「Sustainalytics ESG Risk Ratings(Low risk)」と「MSCI ESG Ratings(A)」の双方で格上げ

Dentsu Group has been upgraded in both the international ESG evaluation 'Sustainalytics ESG Risk Ratings (Low risk)' and 'MSCI ESG Ratings (A)'.

Activities and information disclosure towards governance structure improvement have received high evaluation.

Dentsu Group (brand: "dentsu", headquarters: Dentsu Group Inc., location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, representative: Representative Executive Officer, Global CEO, Hiroshi Igarashi) has significantly improved its evaluation in ESG Risk Ratings*1 by international ESG rating agency Sustainalytics, receiving a score of 15.9 (Low Risk). This is the first achievement of Low Risk rating since 2019. In addition, its evaluation has also improved in MSCI ESG Ratings*2, upgrading from previous "BBB" to "A".

This evaluation improvement is the result of efforts on expanding information disclosure and implementing measures for realizing the Dentsu Group's vision, particularly the governance structure improvement, which has been recognized by several institutions' evaluations, such as being selected for the ESG investment indicator "DJSI World" composition in December 2023 for the first time*3.

The Dentsu Group aims to realize its own and society's sustainability through generating ideas for solving difficult social issues, particularly by actively working on activities and information disclosure about sustainability. Its 2030 Sustainability Strategy has been updated this year.
