Nippon Steel Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Nippon Steel) has newly launched a brand page introducing pre-coated steel sheet 'View Coat'.
The Nippon Steel Group has a variety of design-brand products that make buildings and products inside and outside of Japan beautiful, including decorative titanium 'TranTixxii', hairline-processed electric-plated steel sheet 'FeLuce', and other brands. The company is expanding its promotion of design-brand group that contribute to the realization of carbon-neutral society under the name 'Designing Metal'.
A brand page for View Coat pre-coated steel sheet, which is a product that plays a role in 'Designing Metal', has been launched (※ 1).
View Coat is a product that has high-performance paint applied to the surface of the steel sheet, and the painting bake process (so-called post-painting) in the customer's process can be omitted. It contributes to cost reduction, labor savings, and co₂ emissions reduction of more than 30% altogether (※ 2).
Because of the combination of the unique coatings and base-plated steel sheets developed by Nippon Steel, View Coat has various functions such as deep drawing formability, corrosion resistance when using outdoors, and improved heat absorption. Furthermore, the revolutionary curtain flow coating method is adopted, making it possible to propose a high-level appearance (an appearance without roll marks, with a matte and rough texture).
