As of 1:50 p.m., the Nikkei Average is down 303 yen. In terms of the Nikkei Average contribution ratio, SoftBank Group <9984>, Advantest <6857>, Shiseido <4911>, etc. are among the top negative contributors, while Laser Tech <6920>, First Retailing <9983>, Nitori Holdings <9843>, etc. are among the top positive contributors. In terms of sectors, metal products, nonferrous metals, other financing businesses, wholesale trade, and security commodity futures are among the top decliners, while mining, oil and coal products, land transportation, warehousing and transportation-related, and retail trade are among the top gainers.

Although the Nikkei average is in negative territory, it is showing a strong position on the downside. It seems that the easing of the yen's appreciation and the decline of the dollar that had been cited as one of the reasons for the sudden drop in Japanese stocks have stabilized the yen exchange rate and brought a sense of relief to the stock market. However, some investors are cautious about actively buying stocks, as they want to determine the right time to enter the market and wait for a more stable situation.
