On August 8, 2024, Ningbo Shuanglin Auto Parts (300100.SZ) conducted a specific inquiry on the progress of the new overseas factory in Thailand related to "car rims" and responded that the company invested in a new factory in Thailand to expand overseas. The company has laid out three high-end production lines for car rims bearing and achieved local production of the entire process. In May 2024, it started small-scale production. At present, the Thai factory's products have obtained the origin certification from the US Customs and received the e-Ruling certification letter. Some products have obtained the origin of Thailand certificate. The Thai factory is expected to obtain ISO14001/45001 and IATF16949 system certification before November 2024 and will be able to achieve large-scale supply after the system certification is completed.
Several domestic automakers have built factories in Thailand. Based on the factories in Thailand, the company plans to match these automakers to provide supporting services. At present, the new factory in Thailand has set up a dedicated OEM production line and plans to serve the Thai factory of a well-known domestic automaker. Currently, the Thai factory of the company's new factory is the only supplier of car rims bearing for this automaker's Thai factory.
