UMC (United Microelectronics) announced its financial results for Q2 and H1 of 2024. Q2 revenue was NT$56.799 billion, compared to NT$56.296 billion in the same period last year, a YoY increase of 0.89%. Gross profit was NT$19.983 billion, compared to NT$20.252 billion in the same period last year. Net income attributable to shareholders of the company was NT$13.775 billion, a YoY decrease of 13.35%, and basic and diluted earnings per share were NT$1.10.
H1 revenue for 2024 was NT$111.431 billion, a YoY increase of 0.84%. Gross profit was NT$36.883 billion, compared to NT$39.477 billion in the same period last year. Net income attributable to shareholders of the company was NT$24.205 billion, a YoY decrease of 25.02%, and basic earnings per share were NTD 1.95.
