Koala Fin GP (08226) announced that the company expects to incur a loss of approximately HKD19.4 million for the six months ending on June 30, 2024, compared to a profit of approximately HKD7.6 million for the same period in 2023.

According to the announcement released by Koala Fin GP (08226), the company anticipates a loss of approximately HKD19.4 million for the six months ending on June 30, 2024, in contrast to the profit of HKD7.6 million earned for the same period in 2023.

The announcement stated that the loss was due to the cancellation of approximately HKD19.8 million in accounts receivable and approximately HKD1.1 million in loans and interest from the same borrower, as well as a decrease of approximately HKD2.3 million in interest income from margin financing.
