Meiho Holdings Co., Ltd. <7369> announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending June 2024 on the 13th. Revenue increased by 40.4% YoY to JPY 10.348 billion, operating profit decreased by 68.3% to JPY 0.147 billion, ordinary profit decreased by 82.1% to JPY 0.089 billion, and net loss for the current period attributable to shareholders of the parent company was JPY 0.088 billion (compared to a profit of JPY 0.27 billion in the same period of the previous year).

Sales of construction-related services increased by 4.6% YoY to JPY 3.93 billion, and segment profit decreased by 22.5% to JPY 0.454 billion. Although sales from Fuji Civil Engineering Design (joined the group in July 2023) contributed, profits from disaster restoration projects last year fell. Orders received increased by 2.3% to JPY 3.948 billion, including contributions from orders received by Fuji Civil Engineering Design, and order backlog increased by 12.3% to JPY 2.255 billion.

Sales of human resource-related services increased by 84.1% to JPY 2.436 billion, and segment profit increased by 22.5% to JPY 0.124 billion. This was due to contributions from Resonagate (joined the group in February 2024), as well as the fact that the existing personnel dispatch business is doing well and a large security order was received from Gifu City.

Sales of the construction business increased by 99.8% YoY to JPY 3.19 billion, and segment loss was JPY 0.049 billion (compared to a profit of JPY 0.158 billion in the same period of the previous year). This was due to contributions from Mikawa Construction (joined the group in January 2023), Imada Construction, and Hermit (joined the group in November 2023), as well as some increases in the amount of subcontract work. Orders received increased by 82.4% to JPY 3.708 billion, including contributions from orders received by newly joined companies, and order backlog increased by 162.3% to JPY 2.815 billion.

Sales of the nursing care business increased by 12.1% to JPY 0.792 billion, and segment profit increased by 23.7% to JPY 0.127 billion. This was due to the end of closures and reduction in use by users due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and recovery in the number of users.

For the full year ending June 2025, Meiho Holdings Co., Ltd. expects revenue of JPY 14 billion, up 35.3% YoY, operating profit of JPY 0.65 billion, up 343.2% YoY, ordinary profit of JPY 0.6 billion, up 577.3% YoY, and net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company of JPY 0.28 billion.
