According to the announcement by Orange Sky G H (01132), the group expects to achieve a net loss attributable to shareholders of no more than 0.1 billion Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending on June 30, 2024, while the net loss for the six months ending on June 30, 2023 was 24.4 million Hong Kong dollars.
The board of directors believes that the increase in net loss attributable to shareholders for the six months ending on June 30, 2024 is mainly due to the following net impacts: non-recurring net income of 0.286 billion Hong Kong dollars from the sale of equity in joint ventures by the group as of June 30, 2024; impairment losses of no less than 0.25 billion Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending on June 30, 2024; and the group's operating loss increased due to the decrease in comprehensive gross profit.
