On August 19, 2024, the company learned that Zhaoyuan Units 1 and 2 of Shandong Zhaoyuan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company, Lufeng 1 and 2 of CGN Lufeng Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., and Cangnan Units 3 and 4 of CGN Cangnan Second Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., managed by the controlling shareholders of the company were approved by the State Council. Currently, the company and the companies mentioned above are carrying out all construction preparations for the above units in an orderly manner. After obtaining the “Nuclear Power Plant Construction License” issued by the State Nuclear Safety Administration, full construction can begin.
The single unit capacity of Lufeng Units 1 and 2 approved this time is 1245 MW, the single unit capacity of Zhaoyuan Units 1 and 2 is 1214 MW, and the single unit capacity of Cangnan Units 3 and 4 is 1215 MW.
