Gelonghui, August 20 | The Federation of Science and Technology (00046.HK) announced that for the six months ended June 30, 2024, the Group's total revenue remained at HK$0.1276 billion (2023: HK$0.1281 billion) despite the continued downturn in the market atmosphere. Benefiting from the migration of some development resources to mainland China and adopting a more cost-effective structure, gross profit increased by HK$1.3 million, or 2.0% to HK$69 million, and gross margin also improved to 54.1% (2023:52.8%).
The consolidated net profit attributable to the Group's shareholders remained at HK$18.2 million (2023: HK$18.2 million). Taking into account the positive cash flow from the Group's operating operations and the continued sound financial situation, the board of directors declared an interim dividend of HK5.5 cents per common share, equivalent to HK5.5 cents paid in the same period last year.
