East Money Information (300059.SZ) said on the investor interactive platform on August 20 that since its listing, the company has distributed cash dividends every year, with a total of more than 3.8 billion yuan of cash dividends and more than 13.6 billion shares of stock dividends. Based on confidence in the company's future development prospects and acknowledgement of its long-term value, the company began to repurchase its own shares in August 2023. As of February 26, 2024, the company had completed the repurchase of 71.4526 million shares, with a total amount of 999.8854 million yuan used. In the first half of 2024, the repurchased shares have been cancelled and the company's registered capital has been reduced, after being approved by the shareholders' meeting.
